Article Processing Charges (APC)
MedSciens Publishing Group operates as an open-access publisher that sustains it-self through internal resources without seeking financial support from external entities. The organization solely depends on its own sources for funding. Article processing charges serve as a key revenue stream for MedSciens Publishing Group.
The publisher is required to cover substantial expenses for the dissemination of the research through online platforms. This involves investment in hardware, software, and other overhead costs to facilitate its online publication. Furthermore, the publisher must dedicate time to edit, format, and illustrate the manuscript using appropriate technologies, licenses, and third-party services.
The publisher is responsible for funding the servers and ensuring the long-term preservation of published content within digital repositories for online access and future reference. MedSciens Publishing Group charges authors, their institutions, or funding bodies for article processing fees, which encompass editorial and peer-review services, website hosting, and administrative expenses.
As part of its Open Access policy, the journal charges authors a fee that supports the costs involved in the publication process. It is important to note that this fee is non-refundable once it has been paid.
The article processing fee will be determined based on the availability of funding support and the economic status of the country. These charges can differ from one journal to another. If you have any questions or negotiate article processing charges, feel free to contact us at accounts@medscienspublishinggroup.com.
Authors are not required to pay any submission charges when submitting articles to MedSciens Publishing Group. We strive to create an accessible and supportive environment for researchers and scholars. Once an article is accepted for publication, there may be an article processing fee that helps cover the costs associated with the maintenance of the publication infrastructure, regular operations of the journal, and the process of peer review, editing, publishing etc. We understand that funding availability can vary, and we are here to assist you with any questions or discussions regarding these fees. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and transparent publishing experience for all authors.
Waiver Policy
We have established substantial waiver policies for deserving authors whose universities or institutions do not provide funding assistance for research or lack financial support from funding agencies. Additionally, we offer a considerable waiver to authors from low-income economies to encourage research publications from those countries. The provision for complete or partial fee waiver is determined on a case-by-case basis for the authors. It is important to note that waiver requests are only considered if submitted to the related journal before the manuscript submission.
Withdrawal Policy
Authors who choose to withdraw their article before the plagiarism check will incur no withdrawal fees. However, if the withdrawal occurs after the plagiarism check has been completed (after 24 hours) and formatting, a fee of 189 USD will apply. Once the manuscript has undergone the peer review process and is prepared for publication, the withdrawal fee increases to 459 USD. For articles that have already been published, the withdrawal fee is 549 USD.
Upon acceptance of the article by the journal, the author is responsible for the Article Processing Charge (APC). Authors will have ample time from the submission date until acceptance to determine whether to proceed with publication or to withdraw their submission. Therefore, once the fee is paid, it is not refundable under any circumstances, as the journal operates on an Open Access model.
