CrossMark, Corrections & Withdrawal Policy

CrossMark Policy

CrossMark is a collaborative effort by CrossRef that establishes a uniform approach for readers to identify the definitive version of a document. MedSciens Publishing Group acknowledges the significance of preserving the integrity and completeness of the scholarly record for researchers and librarians, prioritizing the maintenance of trust in the authority of its electronic archive.

MedSciens Publishing Group retains the CrossMark icon as a testament to its promise to keep published content updated and to alert readers to any changes. The CrossMark icon will be included in both the PDF and HTML editions of the article. Clicking on the icon allows readers to view the current status of the published content, along with any relevant additional publication records for that manuscript.

Corrections policy

In general, corrections are usually related to printing or formatting errors, as the manuscript is thoroughly reviewed for grammatical and conceptual errors prior to publication. Readers or authors can notify the editor of any typographical errors found in the published article. Any individual or organization is welcome to share their opinions on any topic published in the journal and can seek clarification if needed.

1. The publisher follows COPE guidelines for managing corrections, retractions, withdrawals, and expressions of concerns
2. In case of any typographical errors in the text, images, tables, legends, or any other section of the article, the editor may issue an addendum, announcing a corrigendum or erratum alongside the original article citation, to be published in the upcoming issue.
3. If the editor finds any objection or complaint to be valid and believes it should not have been present in the article, the editor is empowered to remove those remarks or the entire article.
4. In these circumstances, the editor maintains communication with the author to seek resolutions in the event of any confusion. The editor's decision is final in all such instances.
5. Corrections will be published within a span of 3-5 working days

Withdrawal & Retraction Policy

Wherever feasible, previously published articles will not be subject to revision or modification. Only in very exceptional cases might it be necessary to retract or eliminate a previously published article. Such actions should be considered with utmost seriousness and are only justified in dire circumstances. The MedSciens Publishing Group database will keep a comprehensive record of all article versions, including those that have been retracted or otherwise removed.

The procedure for withdrawal can only be enacted while the article is still in press, which refers to initial drafts that may contain inaccuracies or have been submitted multiple times by mistake. Infrequently, there are occasions when papers may contravene professional ethics through actions such as duplicate submissions, false authorship claims, plagiarism, or the unethical manipulation of data. This withdrawal policy does not extend to cases where a proxy submission occurred due to the author's inability to abstain. Each manuscript will receive a manuscript ID number upon submission, which will be used in all future correspondence. Authors who wish to withdraw an article prior to the plagiarism evaluation will not face any withdrawal fees.

Manuscript retractions are conducted in accordance with guidelines set by different library and scientific organizations. Upon consultation with the editor, the publisher has the authority to retract articles from either the current or previous Issues/publications for specific reasons. Such as, Inaccuracies in facts, errors in procedures, fabrication of data, Substantial technical mistakes, redundancy and overlapping text or data, manipulation of data and research results, violations of ethical guidelines in clinical research. Editor’s decision remains final in all such eliminations and retraction charges are applicable in such cases.
