The Journal of Family Medicine and Chronic Diseases (JFMCD) is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication committed to advancing the study of family health, medical practices, and chronic disease management. As a vital resource for family physicians, healthcare practitioners, and researchers worldwide, JFMCD explores the multifaceted aspects of chronic conditions stemming from factors like substance abuse, poor diet, inactivity, and unhealthy lifestyles. While vaccines for prevention remain elusive, the journal emphasizes evidence-based strategies for management through dietary interventions, medical treatments, and lifestyle changes to enhance quality of life. By focusing on prevention, early diagnosis, effective treatment, and holistic care-including physical and mental health-JFMCD addresses health communication tailored to genders, age groups, and communities, fostering a supportive environment for families and society. Our open-access model ensures unrestricted access to readers, promoting a global exchange of knowledge in family medicine and chronic disease research without barriers. All manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review by expert editorial board members, ensuring high-quality, relevant contributions that drive best practices and patient safety.

Our Article Processing Charge (APC) of $1,200 is crafted to uphold JFMCD's dedication to comprehensive family health research. This fee supports critical services such as expert peer review, professional editing and formatting, and seamless online dissemination via cutting-edge digital platforms. It also encompasses investments in hardware, software, and long-term digital preservation in secure repositories, making your research accessible for ongoing education and policy development. Authors publishing in JFMCD gain enhanced visibility in family medicine databases, higher citation rates, and opportunities to influence health policies, community-based interventions, and advocacy for healthy behaviors. We welcome submissions of editorials, original research, review articles, case reports, and perspectives, all reviewed to elevate scholarly standards and community health outcomes.

To ensure equitable access to chronic disease research, JFMCD adheres to a comprehensive Waiver Policy. We recognize that funding availability can vary significantly, so we offer substantial waivers for deserving authors whose institutions lack financial support or for those from low-income economies. These waivers, whether partial or full, are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to promote inclusivity and encourage global contributions. Requests must be submitted to the journal before manuscript submission to ensure fair consideration. This policy underscores our commitment to accessibility, allowing talented researchers to publish without financial hurdles.

Additionally, our Withdrawal Policy ensures transparency and fairness in the publication process. Authors may withdraw their article before the plagiarism check at no cost. However, if withdrawal occurs after the plagiarism check (within 24 hours) and formatting, a fee of $189 applies. For manuscripts that have undergone peer review and are prepared for publication, the fee increases to $459. Once an article is published, the withdrawal fee is $549. These charges reflect the resources invested in the process and align with our open-access model, where fees are non-refundable upon payment to cover editorial, review, and dissemination costs.

Publishing with JFMCD positions you at the forefront of family medicine and chronic disease innovation, where your work can transform lives by promoting prevention, treatment, and quality of life improvements.
