Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Journal of Fracture and Sprain-Diagnosis and Treatment (JFSDT) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing clinical and medical research on fractures and sprains. As a vital platform for researchers, clinicians, and professionals worldwide, JFSDT explores the multifaceted causes of these injuries, including physical, anatomical, lifestyle, chronic medical conditions, nutrition, and exercise factors. By publishing studies on therapies, management strategies, surgical interventions, and treatment approaches across multidisciplinary fields, the journal bridges the gap between diagnosis and recovery, emphasizing evidence-based practices for bone breaks, ligament tears, and joint-related issues. Fractures often necessitate surgical procedures, therapy, and medication, while sprains may respond to first aid, but both require comprehensive care to ensure optimal healing and patient safety. Our open-access model ensures unrestricted access to readers, fostering a global community of experts and accelerating innovations in orthopedic and trauma care without barriers. All manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review by expert editorial board members, upholding the highest standards of quality and relevance in fracture and sprain research.

Our Article Processing Charge (APC) of $1,150 is designed to support JFSDT's commitment to excellence in injury diagnosis and treatment. This fee covers essential services such as expert peer review, professional editing and formatting, and seamless online dissemination through advanced digital platforms. It also includes investments in hardware, software, and long-term digital preservation in secure repositories, guaranteeing your research's accessibility for future clinical applications and education. Authors publishing in JFSDT benefit from enhanced visibility in orthopedic databases, increased citation potential, and opportunities to influence treatment protocols and patient safety guidelines. We welcome submissions of editorials, original research, review articles, case reports, and perspectives, all reviewed to elevate scholarly integrity and community advancement in fracture and sprain management.

To promote inclusive contributions to orthopedic research, JFSDT adheres to a comprehensive Waiver Policy. We recognize that funding availability can vary significantly, so we offer substantial waivers for deserving authors whose institutions lack financial support or for those from low-income economies. These waivers, whether partial or full, are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to promote inclusivity and encourage global contributions. Requests must be submitted to the journal before manuscript submission to ensure fair consideration. This policy underscores our commitment to accessibility, allowing talented researchers to publish without financial hurdles.

Additionally, our Withdrawal Policy ensures transparency and fairness in the publication process. Authors may withdraw their article before the plagiarism check at no cost. However, if withdrawal occurs after the plagiarism check (within 24 hours) and formatting, a fee of $189 applies. For manuscripts that have undergone peer review and are prepared for publication, the fee increases to $459. Once an article is published, the withdrawal fee is $549. These charges reflect the resources invested in the process and align with our open-access model, where fees are non-refundable upon payment to cover editorial, review, and dissemination costs.
