Article Processing Charges (APC)
At MedSciens Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disorder (MSJCCD), we are committed to disseminating cutting-edge research and clinical insights in cardiology, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart-related conditions. As a leading international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal, MSJCCD serves as a vital platform for sharing translational studies, therapeutic innovations, and advancements in cardiovascular health. Our mission is to connect researchers, clinicians, and specialists worldwide, promoting evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes in cardiology.
To uphold this vision, MSJCCD relies on Article Processing Charges (APCs) as a primary funding mechanism, enabling us to deliver unrestricted access to high-impact content on cardiovascular disorders without external financial dependencies.
Why Do We Charge APCs?
MSJCCD functions as a self-sustaining open-access publisher, drawing exclusively from internal revenues to support our operations. APCs are vital for managing the extensive costs associated with publishing and distributing cardiology research online. This includes investments in robust digital infrastructure, such as advanced software for manuscript handling, secure servers for hosting, and tools for long-term archival storage. Additionally, we allocate resources to professional editing, visual enhancements, and integration of specialized technologies that ensure articles on heart diseases are presented with clarity and precision.
These investments allow MSJCCD to facilitate the rapid exchange of knowledge on topics like cardiac diagnostics, interventional therapies, and preventive strategies, ultimately driving progress in cardiovascular medicine and improving global health standards.
What Does the APC Cover?
The APC for MSJCCD supports a comprehensive suite of services designed to elevate the quality and reach of cardiology research:
Expert Peer Review and Editorial Oversight: Thorough evaluation by leading cardiologists and editorial experts to validate studies on cardiovascular pathologies, treatments, and innovations.
Manuscript Production and Enhancement: Detailed editing, formatting, and illustration to make complex cardiac research accessible, including data visualizations and clinical figures.
Digital Hosting and Global Accessibility: Maintenance of intuitive online platforms for immediate, barrier-free access, connecting your work on heart health to an international audience of practitioners and researchers.
Operational and Administrative Management: Handling of journal workflows, including ethical reviews, plagiarism detection, and adherence to cardiology publishing guidelines.
Content Preservation: Secure archiving of published articles in digital repositories, ensuring enduring availability for future references in cardiovascular science.
By covering these aspects, MSJCCD empowers authors to contribute to the evolving field of cardiology, fostering collaborations that lead to breakthroughs in patient care.
APC Fee Structure
MSJCCD employs a flexible APC model to accommodate the varied funding environments of cardiology researchers. Fees are adjusted according to institutional support, grant availability, and the economic context of the author's location, promoting inclusivity for scholars advancing heart disease research globally.
No Submission Fees: There are no upfront costs for submitting your manuscript to MSJCCD. We encourage contributions from all areas of cardiology, from original investigations into cardiac disorders to reviews of emerging therapies.
Post-Acceptance APC: Following acceptance, an APC is applied to fund the final stages of publication. This charge is non-refundable upon payment, in line with our open-access framework that ensures immediate and perpetual availability of cardiovascular research.

Waiver Policy
Inclusivity is central to MSJCCD's approach in cardiology, where diverse perspectives drive innovation in heart health. We provide substantial waivers for authors facing funding challenges, such as those from under-resourced institutions or low-income regions. Full or partial waivers are granted on an individual basis to support equitable publication of vital research on cardiovascular conditions.
Requests must be submitted to the journal prior to manuscript submission for consideration, ensuring that pioneering work in cardiology such as studies on disease prevention or treatment protocols is accessible to all contributors.
Withdrawal Policy
MSJCCD recognizes that research priorities can shift during the publication journey. To balance fairness with operational needs, our withdrawal policy is as follows:
Prior to Plagiarism Check: Withdrawals within the first 24 hours incur no charges.
Post-Plagiarism Check and Formatting: A fee of 189 USD applies to cover initial processing efforts.
After Peer Review and Final Preparation: The fee rises to 459 USD, accounting for editorial and review investments.
After Publication: For published articles, a fee of 549 USD is required due to the full release of your cardiology research.
Authors benefit from the period between submission and acceptance to make informed decisions. Once the APC is paid, it remains non-refundable, reflecting our dedication to open-access dissemination in cardiovascular science.
