The International Journal of Food and Human Nutrition Science (IJFHNS) is a multidisciplinary, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research on the critical role of nutritious food in managing chronic and acute health conditions, including diabetes, obesity, coronary heart disease, cancer, and autoimmune disorders. As a leading platform for researchers, nutritionists, and professionals worldwide, IJFHNS explores high-quality studies in clinical nutrition, food chemistry, microbiology, processing technology, dietary surveys, and related fields, emphasizing the interplay between nutritional needs and food palatability in interdisciplinary applied sciences. By publishing innovative articles on food insecurity, intolerance, addiction, preservation, and hygiene, the journal bridges the gap between nutrition science and practical applications, promoting healthier lifestyles and evidence-based dietary interventions. Our open-access model ensures unrestricted access to readers, fostering a global community of experts and accelerating advancements in food science and human health without barriers. All manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review by expert editorial board members, upholding integrity, quality, and relevance in nutrition research.
Our Article Processing Charge (APC) of $1,050 is crafted to support IJFHNS's mission of nutritional excellence and accessibility. This fee covers essential services such as expert peer review, professional editing and formatting, and seamless online dissemination through advanced digital platforms. It also includes investments in hardware, software, and long-term digital preservation in secure repositories, guaranteeing your research's accessibility for future dietary studies and health applications. Authors publishing in IJFHNS benefit from enhanced visibility in nutrition databases, increased citation potential, and opportunities to influence clinical practices, food policies, and public health initiatives. We welcome submissions of editorials, original research, review articles, case reports, and perspectives, all reviewed to elevate scholarly standards and community progress in food and human nutrition sciences.
To promote equitable contributions to nutrition research, IJFHNS adheres to a comprehensive Waiver Policy. We recognize that funding availability can vary significantly, so we offer substantial waivers for deserving authors whose institutions lack financial support or for those from low-income economies. These waivers, whether partial or full, are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to promote inclusivity and encourage global contributions. Requests must be submitted to the journal before manuscript submission to ensure fair consideration. This policy underscores our commitment to accessibility, allowing talented researchers to publish without financial hurdles.
Additionally, our Withdrawal Policy ensures transparency and fairness in the publication process. Authors may withdraw their article before the plagiarism check at no cost. However, if withdrawal occurs after the plagiarism check (within 24 hours) and formatting, a fee of $189 applies. For manuscripts that have undergone peer review and are prepared for publication, the fee increases to $459. Once an article is published, the withdrawal fee is $549. These charges reflect the resources invested in the process and align with our open-access model, where fees are non-refundable upon payment to cover editorial, review, and dissemination costs.
Publishing with IJFHNS empowers you to contribute to the forefront of food and human nutrition, where your research can transform diets, combat health issues, and enhance quality of life.
